Mr Irfan Mirza’s tryst with the Hotel industry began humbly some 25 years ago. After completing a Certificate course at the ‘Institute of Hotel Management’, Chennai, and working an uneventful 8 years at the Hotel industry, he opted to pursue higher studies in Hotel Management abroad.

Mr.Mirza started with a Diploma in Food and Beverage Management, from ‘International College of Hotel Management’, Montana, and a Diploma in Hotel Management, «César Ritz» Colleges colleges, Switzerland. After completing his training in Switzerland, he proceeded to Ireland for a’ Bachelors degree in Hotel Management’, from Galway, Ireland.

On his return to India, Mr.Mirza started as a faculty at the newly set up “Institute of Hotel Management and catering technology”, at Kovalam, India. Then he moved to Calicut, as a consultant to help set up the first Hotel management school, in the private sector in Kerala and eventually became its principal. During all these periods too, his connections with «César Ritz» Colleges were very strong and he was instrumental in sending many students to our colleges for higher education.

Since 1998, he has become a full fledged member of the «César Ritz» Colleges family. Beginning as a visiting faculty of «César Ritz» Colleges colleges, Switzerland, he is at present the Director of Academic Relations for India. He is also involved in acting as a Project Consultant to set up Hotel Management Schools in India and abroad. His diverse functions are mainly aimed to protect our college’s interest in India and to deal with Hotel Management Institutes on academic matters, transfers and articulation agreements. He is also the president of the «César Ritz» Colleges Alumni chapter of India.
